AVG and Opera email scanning.

Does anyone know the setup for scanning incoming email in Opera, Im just so fed up with IE being so slow its finally done my nut in.

it does it automatically, well it does on one of my laptops.
thunderbird also does but i think you have to tick a box on setup to use your installed virus checker

Thunderbird all the way for email. Like Opera for web browsing though, seems a little quicker rendering screens than firefox even.

Aaah forgot to say its with Gmail aswell, I just need a link to the settings really as I have Gmail coming via Opera its just the scanning setup within AVG.

if you open avg control centre and then on the table the e-mail scanner should be ticked green. right click for properties. i have mine on auto and i am sure it checks opera automatically, i have it up now but no mail to pick up so can't confirm. I use it more on the laptop just because it is a very good mail client, quick easy and comes up with the browser.

seem to go through stages of using firefox as that has some excellent features but opera rocks, itis such a compact functional peice of software that is a pleasure to use
