Hi,I'm doing a presentation about 'Getting ready for holiday' and I'm a bit stuck on this bit....It says 'list the methods that may be used by different people to prepare to go on holiday'.Has anyone got any ideas? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I did the same sort of thing ( a good few years ago)
and used different methods of getting to the airport/cruise terminal or coach departure
I used breakdown costs and comparisons on ease of travel
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel

Getting ready for a holiday? Spend loads of time on the internet researching, book it, then .... dread the arrival of credit card bill, try to lose drastic amounts of weight, pack suitcase full to bursting point with clothes I won't wear, stress about getting to the airport on time, then ...ENJOY IT!!

Spend hours searching online for the holiday... book it then worry if it will be a disaster! As the departure date gets ever closer get more and more stressed. On day of departure have a massive row with spouse and threaten not to go! Drive to the airport in sullen silence. Panic over baggage allowance and weight of suitcases at airport check-in queue. Having spent hours shaving cost of holiday to bare minimum spend ridiculous amounts of money in 'duty free' (that no longer is)! Get anxious about plane departing and/or being delayed. Eventually go on holiday. Take a week to recover from the stress of prepartions. Return home and feel the need to book another holiday immediately in order to recover from the one you've just had!

  • As its a presentation you are doing I would spend just a little bit of time on the title for your presentation ? isn't doing it for me :)

Don't forget insurance, car parking, keys for house, watering garden/plants, feeding any animals or booking kennels....
