  • It can be provided IN WRITING as she can make a Subject Access Request where all notes on her claim will be provided in writing plus she can also request copies of all calls.
    If they have agreed that they will accept half and it states this on the household notes - then this is her evidence.

    In hosehold notes it usually says something like 'tel call - ap1 agreed to pay £x over x months at £x per month'. It is very unlikely it will say 'ap1 agreed to pay back half & we wont chase her for the other half'. a claimant agreeing to pay half doesn't mean hmrc agreed only to persue them for half.
  • I am only giving my views and opinions from my experience.
    The key word I would have highlighted is "agreed" - meaning to have the same view.
