hi,
Three days ago my avast alert went off saying that it had found Win32:bispe [wrm]. I promptly deleted the file and thought that would be then end, i have had no more alerts so thought all was fine. Today just to put my mind at rest i done a full antivirus boot scan and to my horror found this worm in about 200(!!!) files, all seemingly temporary internet files? I have deleted them all, however i can find no information on this virus on the web at all. I occasionally use internet banking, should i change my passwords ,, as yet i haven't noticed anything funny with my account and im not sure even if ive used it since ive had the virus. Anybody got any ideas
thanks
jim

go to control panel then click on Internet options....click on the "Advanced" tab then scroll down and tick "do not save encrytped pages to disK" and the one underneath it that says "delete temporary internet files when browser is closed" then click on the apply button
this will delete all your temp internet files and make sure your bank details are deleted as soon as you finish
you can also run ccleaner from www.ccleaner.com to tidy up all the temp files and cookies...then rerun Avast and see what you get
also have you run Avast if safe mode ??
if not do so after running ccleanerEx forum ambassador

I've had worms appear in my temp files before and never worked out quite where from ???
Sygate would have warned you if anything new was trying to access the internet so i would not worryEx forum ambassador
