10k ish savings...suggest a high street savings account

ive got about £10k that id like to save

i want a high street place not internet , and not tied up for too long

suggestions please

I do not wish to sound rude, but you are obviously not a newcomer to the boards, judging by the number of postings, but I would suggest you do a little researching of your own first, rather than us doing your homework for you. There are many people who come on here, say I have £3k, £10K, £50K for 3 mths, 6 mths, 1 year etc., where shall I put it. Try reading some of Martin's articles first, then go on a comparison site like moneysupermarket.com and take your pick.
