Me and my wife have viewed a property and they seem very desparate to sell they told us they have another home with a mortgage and a bridging loan on the one we viewed, they have just reduced from £155000 to £140000 and in view of their desparation and some work that needs doing what shall we offer in todays market, we have the cash available and are living in a friends self contained flat after the recent sale of our property.

Id go in at 132 and walk up from there
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
£130,000 seems a fair price for this time. If its for a home negative equity won't matter as much. However I think you will get a lot more for your money if you wait six months in your friends flat if that is a possibility.:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.

I'd echo that to an extent. For cash buyers, there will probably be much bigger bargains to be had by the end of the year / start of next. But.... if you can negotiate a REALLY good price, go for it.0
