Inform experian/equifax i'm now on the electoral roll?

Hi. I've just got onto the electoral roll at my new address, and want to wait until my details are updated before applying for my next credit card.

Should I write/online dispute to experian/equifax, and tell them i'm now on the roll and give them my polling number? Or wait for them to update it normally?

I'd like to tell them now, but I don't want this to affect my credit rating, or leave lots of notes of my report.

What do you guys think?

  • Wait until your files with CRAs are updated. It make take 2- 3 months. Get a copy of your file then and check. If the Roll info does not appear then write to them with supporting documents.
