Enjoy - that's my home you'll be visiting!!
Parking can sometimes be a struggle right outside of the Bosville, but at this time of year it should be fine.
Do you have any ideas of what you'll be doing whilst there?0 -
Skye is truly beautiful.the Skye museum out on northern tip of the islands definetly worth a visit.Climate leaves a bit to be desired but the scenery makes up for it0

I stayed on Skye about four years ago and it is without doubt one of the most stunning places I've been to. I remember visiting the Talisker distillery on a scorching hot bank holiday Monday, thinking that the roads would be quite busy. How wrong I was. Absolute bliss.
My most vivid memory of the day was looking down into the sea lochs and being amazed at how deep I could see. The water clarity was incredible. Far, far clearer that when I went in a submarine in the Carribean!
I think the weather makes a big difference though. I hope you're lucky.0 -
I have been to Skye twice on classic car rallies, and plan to go again in September. Great place. The Claymore restaurant in Boadford has got the most amazing salmon chowder. If you want to see a great view of Skye from the mainland drive over Applecross (just north of loch carron),the view over the sound of sleat is quite something.
Hope you enjoy it0
