B&B in York

I'm looking for a cheap (clean) B&B in the york area for me, the wife & 2 nippers, for a couple of midweek nights in mid August. I don't mind using Travelodges or that sort of thing if the price is right (any special offers?).

We stayed in the York Central travelodge last Sunday night. It was a great central location and the rooms were fine. The best bit was that instead of the usual £70 per night for a family room it was only £26! You can search for the £26 rooms on the website either by date or location at https://www.travelodge.co.uk
Hope they have availability when you want to go, and hope you have a great time in York - we did!0 -
We opted for the South Cave Travelodge in the end, a bit of a drive I suppose, but thats not a problem

Parhaps a bit too late for you, but may help others who need similar accomodation.
I stayed in Elliot Hotel B&B ( try google map) near railway station once 2 years ago, was very please with hospitality, accomdation and food. Excellent value for money, too.0 -
