What is the best way and what to use to clean verticle blinds, we smoke and they are ewwwwww lol Want to make them bright clean and fresh again. With no traces of nicotine. Absaloutley gross and now banning smoking from the house.
:T This site is great! Thanks to Martin Lewis & everyone who participates and helps so many people! Without you all, where would we be ??:T

We did this once by making up a solution of washing powder and hotwater in the kitchen sink and then unclipping each 'slat' of the blind individually, immersing it in the solution for an hour or so and then they came up gleaming!, we did about 5 at a time but I guess a quicker way would be to do them all in the bath at once. I use washing powder to get stains out of all types of things, it's great!0
