Minor problem with using Caller Display with Orchard Dialler

Hi,
Wondering if anyone has ever experienced this problem before:
After force dialling the Orchard Dialler, you get 2 new Caller Display "Out of Area" entries in the caller display log (using a Panasonic dect phone on a BT line by the way).
After that, caller display does not seem to work. To get it working again, I have to turn the phone off at the mains and unplug it from the dialler.
Once this is done, the phone works just fine with caller display as if there were never any problems in the first place.
Strange thing is, this does not happen everytime I have to dial home, just sometimes.
As I say, not a real problem, just wondering if it is just my phone and set up or is this a common occurence?

No I've never observed that on ours. It does seem to be a minor but weird problem!
Do you have another dialler you could swap with to test to determine if it is the dialler faulty or a compatibility issue between the DECT phone and the dialler.
It does say in the .pdf (Acrobat format) Orchid User Guide here (specifically page 7) that some phones with a low impedence FSK signal (whatever that is) may not display the number but most caller display phones do work fine.0 -
No. I do not have another dialler. As I said, it does work fine once the phone is reset.
Eventually, I will have my dialler settings down to a fine art and will only be dialling home twice a year to pick up the new clock settings. If I have to reset the phone then, it will be no big deal as the phone's clock will need to be reset in any event.0
