got a few years built up in ISA now and i wouldnt want to risk the money i have in here.
iam thinking of transfering it all to an icesave ISA and just wanted to know how secure it would be. is there a government guarantee or anything?
(all eggs in one basket and all that)

Yes. The Financial Services Compensation Scheme covers all regulated deposits up to £35,000. If you are at all worried then only keep £35,000 in total with any one 'bank'
If the guaranteed ever had to be called upon, I don't know how long it would take or whether you would then be losing 'interest' on the affected amount......under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0 -
thats secure enough for me
***goes off and starts the transfer process to icesave********:money::money::money::money:0
