right outside the airport but it's pretty big, unless you're lucky, you probably have to got down to the far end of the carpark, opposite end of the terminal building under a bridge, give yourself about half an hour to find a space and get into the terminal.
if you pre-pay, you'll use the debit/credit card used to book or take a ticket and take it along with the booking reference, to the customer service station in the car park when you get back and they will clear the ticket for exit.

Used it a few times and never had any problems, there may be a bit of a walk (10 mins max) if you get the farthest spaces so not good if walking is an issue for anyone. Other than that its been great for the price
  • I parked at Liverpool Airport at New Year and it was exactly as stan747 described. I booked through Purple Parking and simply had to present my confirmation at the office near to the Yellow Submarine for them to validate my ticket to allow me to exit.

it's just a shame that the airport is run like it is, i could quite have easily missed my flight, every flight was queing to use the same 10 checkin desks and the hall was full, mainly polish, i actually got pulled from the queue and rushed through as i would have missed check in, then the queue for passport control......i had to pay a few quid to use the express lane or i would have missed the flight, i was literally the last person on board.
i hope i won't have to use this airport again, later this year , easyjet fly from manchester so john lennon airport will just have been a bad dream.

what has someone's nationality got to do with you struggling to check in..
nothing IMO, and i really don't feel you should say things like that...

By the way, is it well indicated, the way to the airport?
I'm coming from the east, and printed out directions: everything seems to be quite straight forward until you leave the M62, then it sounds like lots of small roads. I hope it's got big signs showing the way to the airport, like any other.
    Is it easy?

I'm flying there on friday, plan to arrive around 6.30/7am.

  • We had stayed the night before in Chester and it was very well signposted from the M56. You basically follow the signs for Runcorn but the roadsigns also carry the standard airport symbol too.

absolutely nothing.......unless your flight happens to be around the time that easyjet fly to poland, if you check beforehand then at least you could allow yourself extra time and not 'struggle' like i did.
i can't believe you would interpret a comment that way unless you where just looking for someone to have a go at....or maybe your one of those do-gooders who wants to ban christmas.

i used these guys last year (i think i found the recommendation on here somewhere) - saved a bit of money, but i would add an extra few minutes on finding the place. they were very quick to pick us up afterwards too. depends on how long you're staying, but i bookmarked them incase i needed them again - can't do any harm to check! (they were also very patient in answering the phone after a complete disaster in navigation from me and helping me find it - my fault btw and not their directions!)
