Help. Peeling fingers.
Comments

i get peeling of fingers after I've washed the dishes without my marigolds on. I've had this for a few years now. Gives me a great excuse to duck out of doing the washing up sometimes! But if it gets bad (say if I'm scrubbing the bathroom using cleaning products without gloves on), I lose the odd fingerprint or two! Caused a bit of a problem when I arrived at JFK airport and had to get my fingerprint scanned! I now ensure that I wear washing-up gloves and always apply handcream whenever necessary.0

Frequently I used to get very tiny white spots on my fingers, which were quite painful if touched, then after a few days they would 'burst' no liquid in them, then the skin would peel off leaving a 'dry skin' area underneath. Never did find out what it was0

Hi, my son had these symptoms when he was 3 and was diagnosed with Scarlet Fever!!
For weeks afterwards the skin on his fingers and toes peeled. He also had a rash and strawberry tongue.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes
Carol
Hi, the skin on my toes started peeling yesterday, so perhaps I also had scarlet fever - my symptoms were very similar.
Thanks0
