Help! forgot to put on a reserve!

My brother in law has put quite a few items on e bay but has not set a reserve price and most of the things he is wanting quite a bit for £50.+.
Is there anyway he can get out of selling these things as some already have bids on for very little i.e 99p.
They all end tonight so any advice would be appreciated.

He should end the listing, if he still has time. If it's too late, things are going to get awkward. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
You could cheat and get a friend or family member to bid on the items to bump up the price. However if your friend / family member wins, you will still have to pay ebay the selling costs and relist the items with the reserves you want and effectively pay the costs twice, but at least you don't let your items go for less than you want.0

Thanks for the advice guys, he's decided to let the auctions run their course which i think he could be making a big mistake, as he wants about £140 for one item and its on a starting price of 99p with only one watcher!0

If There Are No Bids On It..try To Revise Item And Put Up Starting Price To £50 At Least..thats What I Had To Do..TO FINISH LAST, FIRST YOU HAVE TO FINISH....0

A seller whose item I was bidding on yesterday canceled all the bids & revised the item, so it's possible even with bids. No idea how they did it though.Winnings
