Will Landlord reduce last months rent if we leave possestions?

We will be moving out in about 2 months so we havent yet informed the LL, just incase things fall through. We need to give 4 weeks notice.
Our last flat we were in gave us a discount on our last months rent for all the work we did the the place, however that was through an agent.
This LL has his own letting buisness and everyhting we do is direct through him.
Basically the flat was empty and in need of a bit repair when we moved in. We are planning to leave wooden blinds in all of the rooms, a velux blind in the attic room, we've put new vinyl flooring in the utility room and bathroom, we have a wooden fireplace, real marble hearth and back panel and an electric fire which was around £100 (just the fire), we will also have to leave our electric free standing cooker which is modern and in good condition.
Do you think he would knock anything off or is it just not worth asking and take the stuff with us?

It depends. If your LL is not a nice person, s/he might charge your for leaving your stuffs on his/her premises upon vacating the property.

if you leave stuff and you have not negotiated with the landlord - he is entitled to charge you for storage and removal costs of this stuff. his arguement may be that no one asked you to upgrade the property. Why can't you take the blinds and cooker and fire sell them on ?
i would talk to him and see how the land lies.
if he does not want it - you will either have to take it to the tip of pay him to dispose of it - why should he have to pay for someone elses possessions ?0 -
Your 'stuff' may not increase the rentable value of your LL's property and therefore, will have no value to him. Selling may get you more ££s.
Future tenants may bring their own 'stuff' and may not need yours.
As a LL, I'd offer a discount as a goodwill gesture (perhaps £100) but I am extremely generous

We will if he doesnt want them. I'll know for certain next week if things are looking ok for our move so we'll give our notice then and ask him.0
