How do I stop my bed jigging? ;)

Bed on wooden legs + wood floor = bed that slides and jigs about.

Felt pads protect the floor but don't stop the bed moving. I've seen plastic things but I think they would just slip too. Do you get rubber something or others that could go on the bed legs?

Please try to keep yourselves in check. ;)

Any suggestions warmly received, if there's any jigging to be done in my bedroom, I'd prefer it if it wasn't actually the bed that was doing it!

Happy to have been of some use Traf.

    :rotfl:

It is actually a serious question though. There's nothing worse than going to sit on the edge of your bed and the thing disappears from under you and you end up on your bum! :D Or you're just about asleep when your OH appears, gets into bed and you slide across the room and bang into the wall!

(Ok I'm exaggerating, but you get the drift.)

:silenced: I thought I had put the plastic cups under the legs on mine with the felt on the bottom of the cups but just checked and no cups, obviously it didn't work

You can get rubber ones - cups that is :D
They are the same as the plastic ones but they have stubbly grips on the bottom to stop slipping, but here comes the real helpful bit - I have no idea where you can get them :D Try your local DIY shop!!

Hope its of some use, if not - Happy Jigging :D
