is it true .. conservatoryt witha hard solid roof

hi just seem a flyer for a window company showing a conservatory with a solid roof. are these allowed now. before i am sure the law stated that it had to have a see thru roof to be called a conservatory.

I got planning permission for one of these. We called it a sun lounge.0

No idea but if I had one built I wont a solid roof and able to take my weight if possible to get access to the house0
