Big greasy stain on jogging top.

Right I'm trying the cornflour. I've done stain remover and I've done washing up liquid.
I did consider talc because I know other people have recommended it but don't have any in. I'm hoping that cornflour will work because they used to use it under arms. I've completely covered the stain and rubbed it in a bit. Now is it really safe to throw it straight in the wash or should I try to hoover it off when I've left it for a while?
I just shook it a bit over the sink and threw it in - after all the washing machine cleans my clothes after I've been cooking and I usually get stuff all over me
