Big greasy stain on jogging top.

We bought DS a new top the other day which he has worn 4 times.
He has managed to get chocolate spread all over the front (Think size of 4 yr old vs size of hm bread! ).
I've washed it loads now with stain remover on it but can't get the grease marks out. Please anyone, any ideas?
Thanks in anticipation, Kaz.

stardrops....stardrops.....stardrops!!!!!
Ive used this on many a stain.....from curry and red wine on the same blouse and am sure it will remove the grease. Iused to spend a fortune on ACE, but honestly Id be very surpeiseed if stardrops didnt work.
sometimes can be hard to find, I usually get mines in Morrisons.....you have to look on the lower shelves as its not with the highly priced other stain removerscheerio hen0 -
Try soaking it in some dissolved soap powder, you may need a good scoop of powder. Dissolve it in hot water and then add some cold to get it to hand hot.
Some dissolved soda crystals wouldn't hurt it either.
Soak overnight and then try washing.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

I've had some success with spraying hairspray on greasespots and tomato based stains before washing, it doesn't always seem to work on thicker material ie school sweatshirts though.

I just rub in washing up liquid and then chuck it in the machine, works a treat!0

Considering the size and nature of the stain, I'd suggest a soak in Stardrops (or washing-up liquid) in hot water.
Firstly, the heat is required to help liquify the grease in the stain. Secondly, the water is also necessary to allow the hydrophobic (water hating) ends of the detergent or surfactant molecules to then physically lock onto the grease molecules in the stain and the other hydrophilic (water loving) ends of the molecules to lock onto the water molecules, which then lift it away from the garment.

Try rubbing in cornflour into it and then washing. (Honest, it kind of soaks up the grease).working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0

Only joking (I do understand) but hey never realised such amazing reactions happened in my washer

I use this stuff, not strictly OS but I have had 1 bottle last more than 2 years so it works out quite cheap in the long run and works on all sorts, grease, tomato-based sauces, curry and it even gets hydraulic oil out of OH's work stuff http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.item.820298/walk.yah.UKHG-U0780

Right I'm trying the cornflour. I've done stain remover and I've done washing up liquid.
I did consider talc because I know other people have recommended it but don't have any in. I'm hoping that cornflour will work because they used to use it under arms. I've completely covered the stain and rubbed it in a bit. Now is it really safe to throw it straight in the wash or should I try to hoover it off when I've left it for a while?Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0
