I had laser eye surgery done in 2003 with optical express. My vision is still great. The service and after care was brilliant. Many of my friends and colleagues have had the surgery with this company and have all had excellent results and great service.

I was quite impressed when I had my eyes tested there recently. They asked about whether I wanted laser eye surgery but didn't push it when I said I didn't, and they didn't try and sell me all their expensive add-ons either. They even advised me not to go for really expensive ultra thin lenses in the frames I liked, as standard thickness would be better.

I bought my frames from Glasses Direct anyway, but it was ncie Optical Express didn't try the hard sell

My ds1 broke his glasses recently and I went down to get a new pair. Our local one didn't have the frames or a lab tech in - so they phoned another branch, arranged for me to take the lenses down there, filled in all the NHS forms for me - at the other branch they were waiting for me and fitted the lenses in 10 mins - result was my son had his glasses back at school by 10.15am.
