I noticed the Dora pony because i knew yours had been cancelled. Is annooying when you really wanted it for your dd

They have sold 5 ELC houses and still got 3 online!

I think that these traders someow either work for Boots or have an insider there and that is how they get them!!

Has anyone managed to get one of these?

WE've been trying for my about to be born grandson since the first day of the sale - so if anyone did happen to get one and intended to send it back, please PM......

In order to keep this extremely on topic, we got a few bits in the 90% sale yesterday - probably the nicest thing was the Elle clutch bag at £1.50.

Also used up most of the £5 skincare vouchers - probably my best two purchases were a £10.95 ROC product where the SA tried (and was surprised when it worked!) the till with the £5 voucher and a £5 ROC voucher from the GWP, so 95p to pay! :D

Totally O/T, noticed a brand new MAZDA MX5 parked outside Boots MK at the weekend with a GWP numberplate, I wonder what that Bootser bought in order to get that.... :rotfl:
They don't seem to have those available in my local Boots...
  • Hi everyone, I've been reading this thread for days while getting up for the .com sale, but is first time i've ever posted:o. The posts are so entertaining ! I can't believe there are so many of you Bootsters.
However, my 1st attempts at bargain hunting have been rubbish !!
I tried the 90% off sale instore but nothing left at all ! I also failed to find anything for my 3 x £5 skincare vouchers as well as getting turned down for using a '100 points off Botanics' voucher on a sale item. I did get 3 magazines and am going to attempt to get some No 7 highlighters. I am not a total newbie to Boots as I used to shop in the .com sale about 8 years ago when items used to stay on for days and you had the pick of everything - bliss..... I can't believe how hard it is now - bloomin ebay !
  • (P.S. Just to clarify: When I said 'bloomin ebay', I meant ebay has made it a lot harder to find bargains in the .com sale, as people are no longer just buyng for themselves)

When I reply to my 'thank you for bringing this to our attention' letter, I'm going to suggest a new stock control system (so that when you have completed checkout, had the order confirmed, then listed as 'being processed', items can not be bought by anyone else so that your order is cancelled), and a maximum of say 3 of any one item per customer.

Multiple re-selling on Ebay cannot be what Boots what, either. Although trying to understand how Boots work is pretty pointless!

Hi Folks well done with all your bargains today!!:D I was stuck in as ds is off school again with this bug:( Oh by the way Sally06 i have nominated you for post of the month;) I was also wanting to ask a wee favour i did post this about a week ago but it got burried under all the sale excitement:D
Has anyone bought one of the Ted Baker sts with the alarm clock in it and realised that the clock isn't of much use to them? I would be really grateful if this is the case! My brothers clock for working away from home has packed in and the size of the 1 in the set is perfect to fit in his toiletry bag(Mens Boots Botanics of course!!;) )he works 12hr shifts and struggles without a clock!!(h needs to try being a parent eh?)I have tried all the Boots up my way with no luck they have been oos here since the 75% started! I will of course cover all costs involved! Even if someone has the whole set surplus to requirements i would be most grateful:) Sorry if this is not allowed :o
Has any of my fellow Aberdonians been into of our Boots's today? Is it worth me making a round trip 2morrow?:)
    TIA Lynne x

    Hi Lynne
