Does anyone know if you can bring something back to a local boots store thats been bought online? Just got 2 metal detector toys which are just rubbish & go off when they aren't even near metal :rotfl:
They might have only been £2 each but they are useless.“Hope is the only bee that makes honey without flowers.”

Please help me!! Something has gone badly wrong since i joined this site last year. I started out trying to save money as i felt i was paying too much for items that i truly needed, for example i needed to buy a new washing machine, and wanted to know where to get the best discount.
4 months on, and i find myself logging into this site, and boots site, and tescos EVERY MORNING, and am buying things that i dont really need because they are cheap, and am justifying it by saying that it will do for presents.
I honestly feel that i am in some way addicted, and instead of saving money, i am now spending more money than i ever have done!!!
what is making it worse , is that you boots threaders are soooooo lovely and seem to share in my addiction!!
are we all under a strange subliminal mse boots thread grip?0 -

I took a toy I bought online back to a store. The only problem you may have is if your local Boots doesn't stock toys - I tried to take my purchase back to a small store first and they told me to go to the bigger town centre store which stocks toys. I don't know if they were right to do this (the delivery note doesn't specify which stores you can use to return stuff) but as I was heading there afterwards anyway, I didn't question it.
I'm pretty sure you can also ring CS and ask for a courrier to come and collect them, if you can't get them to a post office (although if you can get them to your local store, I'm guessing that's not the issue...?).0
