Apologies if already posted; searched but could not find.
NatWest are currently offering a limited edition 3 month Fixed Rate Bond. 6.25% AER. 6.11% Gross.
Minimum investment is £2.5K, doesn't appear to be a maximum although I remember £50k being mentioned as possible max.
Usual penalties apply for early withdrawal.

Thats not a very good 3 month bond by natwest, they have always been a bit shoddy, your better off choosing Icesave for 6.76% for 6 months.
Chorley Beat It with 6.4%Had £80,000 in Savings - All GONE!!! BYE BYE:A Single, 27, Aspie, Gooner :A0 -
I have been a Natwest customer for a very long time indeed and I have yet to find anything they offer that has had a decent rate of interest, as Mcsaver says you would do better with an ordinary Icesave account with no strings attached!Careful_with_that_Axe wrote: »

Just like that advert. Bamboozle them with terms like bond....

Many thanks for comments. I obviously still have a lot to learn!!
Have always struggled with poor finances until left some money when Mum died which enabled me to pay off miriad debts and look at investments. Have poor health, so find all the research difficult.
Moral of the day - pay much more attention to MSE website!!I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break

The problem with these short term bonds/deposits that appear to give you a higher rate on your savings is when you factor in the days the funds spend in limbo going in and then coming out then frankly most of them are just a waste of your time and effort.0
