Ferries to Sweden/Denmark

Can anyone advise on the cheapest way to get to Sweden/Denmark by ferry. The prices seem to have shot right up since June - almost 4 times as much!!!
OR if anyone has any online discount codes for DFDS I would be very grateful.... Any information would be much appreciated..

i have the same problem every year. i sometimes go Harwich to the hook of holland on the Stena seacat, thats fast and cheap. then just drive up through Hamburg onto puttgarten- rodby ferry, and over the bridge to malmo.
This year i took my car up in June on dfds before the season kicked in, and left it there. flew back on a cheap return from that end with ryanair.0
