I'd like to join in again too please. I did a few weeks last year and the difference in the house was amazing. I'm definitely going to try and do some ebaying this week. I had a splurge a few weeks ago and raised enough to buy a mixer or food processor. Am just to trying to decide which one. Any advice gratefully received.
Here's my list for tomorrow.
Level One
Clean floors
Level Two
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Clean cupboard door fronts and the kick boards
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)
Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
(Am not doing the cooker for a bit because I've got so many other things to catch up on!)
For my extra missions, I've chosen:-
Wipe out the fridge, make sure the drain is clear
Wipe over little appliances, wipe under them before putting them back
Clean dishwasher, cooker hood (if washable) and tumble drier filters
I had the Fly Lady book for Christmas and even just reading it for a few minutes in the morning makes me get up off my backside, so am looking forward to joining in with you all this week!0 -
Ohh! I am in! Turbo list then go live on Thursday?

I've had a couple of these!!
I would send hubby out to shop with them and whizz through with the vacuum.. then I decided that was madness and they'd have to get used to it sooner or later.. so they went in the sling and we vacuumed together while talking to them.. that soon brought them round.. I never ever left them on the floor while I vac'd though.. that is too scary!!.. it might suck them up!!
Occasionally in nice weather I'd pop them in the pushchair with some toys and fling them in the VERY secure garden to have some fresh air with I vac'd as well.. my back door was about 3 steps from the front room so they were in sight all the time!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Just sat and sorted out a budget and savings plan and in a wonderful mood because we are so much better off with all the debt gone, I keep going on about it, bit's bloody brilliant! :j
Hey keep going on about it, you worked damn hard to get debt free it's worth all the leaping aboutmaralum wrote:Inspired by AnWsmum (thankyou very much), I finally stopped making excuses and completed my tax return. My god, I hate it! Even when I think I've done it right, I still think I've done it wrong.
I know exactly what you mean. It's great being able to do it online as you can see how much you have to pay and go back and double/tripe/quadruple check the figures.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

Hi all. I started last week trying to fly, but slowed to something of a crawl. In between Ventolin today I've cleaned all my kitchen surfaces, and the window, emptied and cleaned all the cupboards and drawers. Then I called NHS Direct who called the Paramedics who put me on a nebuliser.
I persuaded them not to cart me off to hospital if I promise to go back to the doc in the morning. :TI've had two lots of antibiotics and am about to finish my third lot of steroids since Christmas. :eek:Oh well, another day off work tomorrow. I may well get a bit more flying in!

Welcome newbies
hope you enjoy being with us
Hugs for Zed and Pink fairy, aswell as any other poorlies. Yes like the saying goes, kids get colds, men get flu and women just get on with it!!!! Do try and get some relax time however so you don't end up feeling worse. Oh and hugs for those doing tax returns, horrible nasty things they are! We've had 3 people we know who are self employed go into bankruptcy in the last week or so, wondering if it's because the tax returns are due....
Ebay, hmmm, considering it, I do have some tankinis, 3 left I think, but thinking would they sell better later in the yeardon't know what else I can sell, hmmmm, will have a think.....
Pack ups need doing, need to empty the dishwasher then refil then bed time for me. Like Pigpen I need to start going to bed earlier, especially as DSs are getting up much more often again. One day I might be more organised...........
