Ice skating on my own?

Hi, I love ice skating and have not been in years. But none of my friends like it. Does anyone go on their own or am I going to look out of place on my own.

Why not go get some skating lessons if you don't want to stand out from the crowd- if you can skate well already then perhaps figure skating? A good way to meet a new friend who would like to go skating but her friends don't want to go??Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

you won't look out of place on your own, I often go skating with friends but don't actually skate with them as such, we all end up skating around by ourselves and so do most other people (apart from the odd couple and the ones who are learning) and also, no one is looking at anyone else, they are far too busy concentrating on skating to notice anyone else let alone someone who is there by themselves
go for it, why stop yourself doing something you like because of what complete strangers may or may not think0 -
