Hiya,
I would like to listen to my music in a hotel room but not through headphones - what I really want to do is connect it to the TV speakers. I've got an blackberry curve, but it has the same headset jack as any other MP3 player. What do I need to do/buy to connect the machine to the telly, then listen to the music on the telly speakers. Grateful for any advice.
PS I have got an AV cable (or thought i had) with the red yellow and white ends on, but what i thought was the headphone jack is skinner and too thin for my blackberry.
Thanks

Well not needed to do it myself but I would have thought you are on the right lines, make sure the TV has audio in sockets (red/white phono sockets) and you have the correct size headphone jack i.e 2.5mm or 3.5mm, Tune the TV to AV (or EXT) and hit play.0

You need to connect your mp3 player to an input, some TV's have the red and white phono connections allong witht he yellow video connection. you could use that but it isnt that comon for hotel TV's to come with that type of connection. You may need to buy a scart to phono connector like this one then a cable to go from your mp3 player to the phono connector jack plug to phono like this one. If you have an alternative size tot he standard 3.5mm jack then you can buy convertors.0

have tried with just the cable (no luck) but not the scart solution, so will give that a go next. thanks0
