Daryl Showers

Over 3 years ago, I had a couple of Daryl showers (complete trays, shower units, enclosures) installed by a local builder. Recently, one of the shower units started oozing out some nasty looking blue residue. I called the bathroom shop I had bought the showers from, they referred me to Daryl directly since apparently I have a lifetime cover on the showers (whose lifetime, I don't know).
Called Daryl who sent an engineer a couple of weeks later (that was perfectly good enough because there was no emergency). He replaced the entire shower unit free of charge since he traced the problem to a defective washer and said the safest was to put a new unit in (retail price some £800). Whilst doing this, he also inspected the other shower and pointed out to me that the door had been fitted slightly off-square and the door seal was coming loose. He fixed that one too, free of charge.
Nobody ever asked me for a bill or any warranty agreement etc - they just fixed things. And the engineer was a most pleasant chap, who left the place sparkling clean.
A really positive experience! :T
