Can anyone please tell me how. Its around the sum of £250. I know why ive been overpaid. Cause a lady on the phone wouldnt listen to what I said to her and insisted just cause my hubby was made redundant then we had to declate my earning only at that time. Hey presto until we got a new job 2 weeks later yes we did live on my wages alone but this caused a massive overpayment. Can anyone please advise how I apeeal and if I in your opinion have the grounds to. Do I need to write. If so Can anyone please give me the address
Regards and thanks Keaterx

You MUST write in, and state that they are liable for this overpayment due to their maladministrsation. IN your letter ask for the recording of the phone call to be reviewed by the independent complaints officer (they must have one).
make sure your councillor is aware of the issue, after all, he is liabie if you sue the council, as are the resst of them, legally.0 -

I don't think this is relevant is it? We're talking about tax credits, so nothing to do with the council.
But absolutely right about asking for the phone call to be reviewed, because without it I don't think the appeal would be successful in this case.
