Problems connecting wireless modem router to madasafish

Hi, we have a Belkin N Mimo wireless modem router which we are trying to connect to madasafish so that we can use a laptop as well as desktop. We have followed the set up cd and entered the vpn and vci numbers as well as the encapsulation type and also the user name and password supplied by madasafish. When the modem router tries to connect to madasafish it says your ISP does not recognise the password and information given. We have spoken to madasafish but they say the password is correct. Our old modem was connected via usb but the new belkin is by network cable.
Any advice on set up would be very much appreciated.
