Best place to sell old comic books? Any ideas?

Hi all
I've got a collection of 200+ comics from the late 70's/early 80's, most of them Marvel. I don't want to just throw them all on ebay as I think some of them may be quite valuable. Does anyone know where I might be able to get them valued around the manchester area? Like a comic collector or something?

Most comics from this era aren't really worth anything. To be sure though, there are price guides available. Any 'valuation' you get from someone will usually just be an attempt to get them from you at a bargain price.

Look on ebay to see what completed auctions have finished for.

If not there are plenty if online comic shops which you could get a rough idea of any value.
