Hiya,
I'm really sorry as im sure this will have been posted a million times but i dont appear to have much luck with the search facility!
We live in Doncaster and are thinking of moving to another area, i know where it is, looked at the Ofstead reports for the schools and had a drive around but wondered how other ppl really get a feel for the area?
I know 2 ppl that live there but not very well, and one says the street the house is on is nice and one says it's awful so could do with an objective opinion. Was thinking of asking the Estate Agents but surely they will just say it's fab etc for the sale?
Thanks for any help or a link to the millions of previous posts about this!!

When we moved to a new area we drove around the surrounding streets during day and night, visited the local park and spoke to a few local dog walkers, drove to the local shop around 8pm to look for any gangs/hoodies, had a meal at the local pub during the evening to see the "locals".
