Dear Sir or Madam,
Re: Account number: ************
I purchased the above policy from you but now believe that I was mis-sold this policy for the following reasons:
This is due to the fact that I was not given the correct information when the policy was sold to me; your salesperson was very pushy in selling me the policy so that I felt I could not say no.
· Did not ask for any medial history, which would make most claims invalid.
· Having recently looked at the paperwork for my credit card card I now realise that I have been paying for insurance that I did not know I had taken out so could not have been explained to me·
Unless you can satisfactorily justify to me that the policy was fair and reasonable I am requesting a full refund of all premiums, and subsequent interest on these payments, that I have paid to date. As I believe I have been deprived of this money I also expect 8% statutory interest, the amount a court would award, to be added to each payment made.
I look forward to a full and prompt response to this letter and for the matter to be concluded with eight weeks or I shall be contacting the Financial Ombudsman to investigate my complaint.
Yours faithfully,

can i hijack this thread and ask what we're looking for on the ppi front with credit cards, i've heard all the ppi hulaballo but never had a loan in my life so never really bothered with it, whenever i've been offered ppi on my credit cards (very rarely) i turn it down...but I did have a tesco one years ago and I always checked my statements and there were only things i'd bought on there.
I'm assuming it must be hidden somewhere otherwise everyone would have seen it on their first statment, queried it and it would have stopped then, where as people seem to be paying it without knowing for years, so how do i check?Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0
