Home computer advice in Cardiff required, please

Can anyone recommend someone reliable and reasonable who'll come out to fix home computers in Cardiff?

I've just bought a Vista PC to replace my XP PC and I'm trying to transfer the data across. I'm struggling with networking them together, and I'm wondering whether to buy the recommended 'Easy transfer' cable. Since it'll only get used once I wonder if it would cost much more to get someone in to help me. Or has anyone got one to sell me second hand?

You can get a USB pen drive cheap enough.
Bang it in the first PC, drag and drop your files over
Pull it out, bang it onto the new PC and drag/drop the files over

A pen drive is also instantly useable for many other uses, unlike a cable which would be a peculiar thing to have lurking in your wallet.

I've got a memory stick for photos, etc, but it's transferring all the settings as well which is a bit more fiddly (to me, anyway!).
