Just wondering if anyone on here has done the B+E test?
If so, got any advice/tips?

I'm thinking about going for it, it's be in my own vehicle so was checking up on the test vehicle requirments.

It says on the site "Category B + E - car and trailer test vehicles must be -fitted with externally mounted, nearside and offside mirrors for use by the examiner or any person supervising the test "

I take it this means there MUST be an extra mirror either side, along side the normal ones?

A supprise to most, anyone with a license issued after 1997 is not actually licensed to tow anything behind their car, most people aren't aware of this.

There are companies out there who will do the whole test for you and know all the issues, i had to put guys through it when they worked for my company to comply with the law.

Actually you are allowed to tow, but basically only a trailer with a gross of 750kg
