O2 (OK, I may be in the minority)

I transferred my number from Orange to O2 this year, and, lets just say, it didn't go to plan.
However, when I've needed help (which was a fair amount!) their call centre staff have always been really helpful.
I found it useful that I could call their customer services team from any O2 shop, generally no questions asked.
Their staff are friendly, and were always apologetic for their mistakes etc.
And a big plus - their call centres are UK based!
They're good at 'compensation', as such - overall I've gained £13 credit, 800 O2 mins, about 200 xnet texts - enough to keep me very happy
OK, so they may mess up - but they sort it out, quickly, unlike Orange, who I left mainly because they messed up and didn't sort it out (costing them far more than the £10 they gained from messing me about.)

I've been with 02 for around 7 years now and am very happy with them (previously with Orange and wasn't unhappy with them other than I kept losing my signal when I left the main towns). I'm pay as you go with with 02 and curently get back 10% of every top up and also get money back every 3 months. I get 150 free evening and weekend minutes each month if I top up £15 the month before - 300 weekend and evening minutes if I've topped up £30. and I currently get 10% off all my calls for 3 months and sign up to a £11.99 bolt on which gives me 400 text a month. So all in all i'm very happy with 02. :T0

Call prices are cheap to the u.s which is a bonus for me but the actual reception and customer service is so shoddy!Dec Wins : Gold Leaf Necklace

I'm with O2 also. Having transferred from 3, they are a breath of fresh air. Their C/S is in the UK and never had any problems with them.0 -
HI I am with 02 and have been for many of years. Have always found they helpful and will always sort out a problem and call you the next day to see if they have solved the problem for you. I have a sim which as long as I put £10 on a month they give me 400 texts free and I get to keep the £10 credit. Have also figured out away how to call customers services without paying for it, naught I know but I think it is unfair to charge me when I need some assistance with my phone.♥♥♥Life is too short to wake up with regrets ♥ So love the people who treat you right. ♥ Forget about the one’s who don’t ♥ Believe everything happens for a reason ♥ If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands ♥ If it changes your life, let it ♥ Nobody said life would be easy, they just promise it would be worth it ♥0

FYI, 5/7 (ish) Orange contact centres are in the UK. 2 are offshore.
Not that that excuses any bad service, but just for clarity on the onshore/offshore issue. On the up

i have had my o2 contact for 10 years and never had a problem and therefore see no reason to change.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0

I'm with 02 and have been for most of my mobile-having years (almost 10).
Barely had any problems and when I have they've been sorted out quickly.
Christmas 06 I signed up for a contract phone (Nokia n73) which wouldn't save pictures after I'd taken them. I swapped it for another that they did on the doorstep and it still wouldn't work so they offered me an upgrade on my £30 a month thing to a better phone (that I would have had to make a one off payment for) for free. I said no and bought a £50 off their website as a tide over until I could afford the PAYG one I wanted which came with £75 HMV vouchers.
The vouchers didn't all work (£30's worth had) and I emailed the people who had issued them as it said to on the back and rang to double check that the phone had got back to them that after I'd had to post when closing my contract account and didn't want lumbering for a phone worth a few hundred pounds. I casually mentioned the vouchers as the man asked abotu them and I was told that 'I was lucky to have got the vouchers in the first place' and was generally spoken too in a snappy way.
Feeling brave after a few drinks I sent an email to the CEO expressing that I was unhappy at the way I'd been spoken too, I'd bought this phone and the vouchers hadn't worked and I'd had two phones on contract that hadn't worked and had left me without one for a while whilst I got it sorted and my email got passed to a lovely gentleman who apologised for what had happened, organised a £75 goodwill payment as a cheque in place of the vouchers AND came back with £75 of voucher codes!
Not only that but the place who had issued them rang and also replaced the ones that hadn't worked! I couldn't believe it when 02 said I was able to keep them all!
So yes. I'm very VERY happy with 02.0
