No Bank of Ireland own them. In fact BOI improved them a lot, they had a rep for being fussy and slow a few years back but now they are ok.

Bristol and West were a building society. The savings business was sold to Britannia Building Society, but the mortgage part was sold to Bank of Ireland - so B+W mortgages are with BOI.0
