Car accessory shops?
Halfords?
Some of the dark side streets near (not too close!) where you live?0 -
I prefer the Lambo wheels that are on the other cupra forum!"I'm not from around here, I have my own customs"
For confirmation: No, I'm not a 40 year old woman, I'm a 26 year old bloke!0 -
breakers, dismantlers scrap yards, whatever you like to call them,or try gumtree.com ,or im not sure if they still do it but at the back of the autotrader they used to have a column for parts.
or why not try your dealer if you want ripped off?...work permit granted!0 -
Look on loot. You often find people will sell their alloys after doing an upgrade. If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0

If you are looking for an exact set, then e-bay, dealers, scrappers are probably the best bet.
If you are happy with something similar, or looking for something different, then I strongly suggest picking up a copy of a magazine like 'MaxPower'.
It is filled with advertisements and suppliers, so strong competition, and fantastic selection ( and lower prices).
I managed to buy a totally legitimate Stereo from an advertiement in there for £110 ( Halfords was £160 for the same thing). And also got some alloys and tyres for a bargain price, which was for a good brand and tyres.
If i am ever looking to buy a stereo or whatever, a look in one of these 'review' magazines is always a good bet to know what you will get for your money (if you can get a product with 4 stars instead of 2 stars for your cash) and often the advertiesments in them give good deals too. Believe some (but not all) shops are linked in to some suppliers too so may not recomend the best product.0 -
I am looking for an exact set, and a SEAT set as well to stay "standard" ish.
But thanks for the advice, from you and everyone.0 -
scrap yards and your local freeads paper (https://www.adtrader.co.uk) are the only other places, I would think of.0

If buying from a scrapyard, try & see the car they came off. If its badly smashed, the wheels may not be 'true', which may create handling & safety issues.0

Rather make sure there is a 14 day money back gaurantee (written on receipt) if the wheels are out.
Then when he fits them he can spin the wheels to check the runout
information can be found here
http://www.aa1car.com/library/wheel_balancing.htm
and here, but here, they are mostly talking about tyre runout not wheel, but the principle and the method of measuring is the same

If he takes them for tyre fitting or even just balancing the fitter should be able to test if they are ok if he does not want to do it himself.0 -
You could try 'free classified ads' online.0
