RBS Revolve Current Account Problem.

Hey guys and gals.
Well, this seems like the right place to go to for moeny stuff so heres my question.

I got signed up to the 11 - 18 RBS Revolve Current Account.
Now i've been sent my card, activated and put money on it ect..
But i only noticed the other day that it says SOLO on the back of it.
So that made me assume that i could use it online, but more importantly for payPal so that i could start up my eBay business

But strangely enough i don't think my card has all the proper information on it!

Now i was wondering if someone could fill me in on this, can i use this current account as a solo card for payPal.
If not then it means going behind my parents back and signing up the HSBC (they give you one!)

If it's a Solo card it should at least have the Solo logo on it:

The card is indeed a debit card as denoted by the 16 digits through the front centre of the card.

Underneath is your name. Bottom left is your sort code and the account number is kindly omitted from RBS/NatWest debit cards for security reasons.

The bottom right is valid from and valid until.

On the signature strip on the reverse is 7 digits (4 then 3) the (last) 3 digits is your security number.

Log into PayPal and add it

I have just had a look at the RBS website and there is no mention of a Solo debit card for the Revolve account see here

If the first 4 digits of the card number are 6767 then its a solo card.

Yes, it does work.

I use this exact same card on PayPal. You must add it as a solo not a maestro. I cant remember, but you may need your other account details which came in your welcome pack (sort code etc, Im not sure though)

Its a good card and works well here and abroad.

Arent there some rules about trading on ebay at a specific age? Isnt it under 16? :rolleyes: I dno about that. Might be something u want to check out ?
