I know I didnt actually buy it but want a bit of a moan and to see if anyone knows the reason why

My mam bought 2 roger black treadmills from the argos site for £349 instead of £699 a while ago.

I have been on it and used it a few times and wanted one

I was going to buy one as it was £300 in the sale and on the sale pages for gym equipment it stated sale will last until 19 Febuary and previous price was £699

Now I was going to wait until payday but my mam said today she will get me one today and get the money off me on payday so I dont have to wait for it

My fella went on the site and it shows the price as £349 not reduced

So yesterday it has down from £699 to £349 to £300 and offer was on until 19.02.2007 and now its not been reduced before.

So was the previous reduction frmo £699 a fib and why did they sale the sale ended the 19 Feb when they must has known that new catalogue was coming out, why didnt they just put sale ending 18 jan:mad:

I would assume, if you took in the catalogue/leaflet where it says it's £300, they should give you it for £300.

I am guessing that the price has changed in the new catalgoue so they cannot say 'was £699' because that refers to the old catalogue.

I don't understand why you are complaining... the price is still good, so what's the problem?

The higher price has to be the price it was for at least 28 days within the last 6 months. So the £699 price is probably now what it was more than 6 months ago.
