A conservatory - Best and most cost effective approach.

Thinking of adding a decent conservatory to our 1980 built 3 bed semi.

Having had multiple poor experiences with local trades people and double glazing companys, we are nervous.

Wondering what is the safest way to go. Is it best to by one and have it put up by a builder or go to a company that does the lot? Any tips advice would be very much appreciated as would like the extra room but not keen on the hassles and don't want to be ripped off, of course.:money:

Thanks in advance.

A conservatory might NOT be a good idea!

It could well be too hot in summer, to cold in winter, to use as much as you like.

It may well reduce your garden size.

Could add less value to your property than it costs.

So, if it's extra space you need, do think of the benefits a proper extension, might give. It will cost more inittially, but probably more of a better value for £$£$ longer term investment.
