    It's a better time to invest than it has been in months. However, there is no way to predict for sure the direction the markets will take in future, so even if you invest now there's no guarantee that they will go upwards just yet.

    Still, if you're investing in the long term any short-term drops you encounter will usually be offset by the long-term (hopefully upward!) trends

    Depends on how long you're intending to invest for. Long term, yes. Short term, no.
