    I've worked for four different companies in the last ten years and all required me to phone in personally when sick. Methinks the OP has been fortunate with generous employers:o

  • to get involved in a companies grievance process would be hard when you don't have a contract of employment.
    you need to rectify this before proceeding with anything else
  • Our company policy is unless you are in hospital, you have to phone in sick yourself.
    A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
