Why Ariel? Probably a stupid question!

  • I subscribe to Which? magazine and from memory I think Ariel (bio) came out top in their tests.

I use Ecover but after reading a thread on the green board [ http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=685889 ] and a Good housekeeping test which said they were as good as Ecover and Ariel but a third cheaper than Ariel and half the price of Ecover I am going to try this brand: http://www.simplywashing.com/downloads/Image/library/news/14012008_good_housekeeping.jpg

Not sure about the price claim as I bulk buy Ecover in big 5 litre bottles which works out much cheaper but the simply washing site has free delivery so I thought it would be worth a try: http://www.simplywashing.com/ They do a non-bio too (which Good Housekkeping reckoned was actually more effective) - one of the reasons I don't use Ariel is sensitive skin. Will report back on what they are like anyway.

I ordered these after seeing them recomended somewhere and they are really good so are there dishwasher ones..when i ordered they where £2.99 if you bought 4 you got 1 free and the delivery was free and very quick it arrived the next day
Other women want a boob job. Honey the only silicone i'm interested in is on a 12 cup muffin tray, preferably shaped like little hearts

Ariel did win the biological washing powder which test. Persil won the non- biological which test and Fairy Liquid won the washing up liquid which test.

Can anyone tell me where the free sample of soap nuts is or where they can be bought from.
    Cheers

    Hi

If you follow this link http://www.inasoapnutshell.com/id20.html you can get your free sample - but have to pay 70-something pence for P&P - you can pay for it by PayPal - which saves an envelope I guess!

  • My local Co-op has had the simplywashing range half price:D It's very good, I'm very fussy and have been pleased with the excellent results. I'm well stocked up:D ;)

Thanks for the tip-off! I shall get myself stocked up pronto!

Thanks CC - I hadn't heard of that company, but it sounds great! I'm going to order some in now!

    Thanks for the links
