Disabled tickets at Chessington

Looking on Chessingtons web site at their "Disabled Guide" it says to get a disabled ticket and helper ticket:
I dont have a blue/orange badge but I do get DLA, and have all the letters to prove it. Is producing the letter about my DLA enought to get me and my helper a disabled ticket?
Has one else taken a disabled person to a theme park and recieved help/good service?
(I know the following is off topic but I dont really wanna start another thread elsewhere, if you wanna pm me rather than posting about it so the nice board guides dont get angry
)
Because my disability isn't a 'visual' disability, people dont believe that I am disabled (I'm deaf in one ear, profound hearing loss in the other and I have Meniere's Disease, hence the helper to support me if I have an attack) and so I have a hard time 'proving' it, does anyone know a scheam that is run with a reconised card or something simula to 'prove' a disability?
Those who are able to provide documentary proof of disability (i.e. blue/orange badge or similar) will be able to purchase discounted tickets to the Park for themselves and up to two Helpers.

You could ask your Local Authority Social Services to "Register" you as "Disabled" For most disabled people being "registered disabled" doesn't make any difference, although in some local authorities being registered means you can get discounted access to leisure facilities. But they may issue you with a "Registered Disabled" card. This card could then be shown if you are ever asked to establish your "Disabled". Being registered disabled is an entirely separate process from the Blue Badge Scheme details of which are in this booklet.
