Setting up a Chocolate Fountain business- advice?

Hi - I am thinking of setting up a Chocolate Fountain hire business - not the massive ones, but a fairly impressive size suitable for children's parties.
Does anybody have any advice/see any major pitfalls to this??
Do I need liability insurance for taking an electrical product into other people's houses?
I'm sure there is more to this than I can think of!!
Thank you

Careful research needed: it's easier and easier to buy at least the small ones now, so the market may be limited. And that's before you start worrying about nut allergies, dairy allergies, fruit allergies and all the 101 other ergies which make parents to day so nervous!Signature removed for peace of mind0

And you'd need to investigate insurance too: probably public liability, in case anything happened with your equipment. I agree with Sue: with chocolate fountains on sale for £30 these days, rental would need to be very cheap in order to convince the public to rent, rather than just buy. And this might leave little to no room for profit margin for you.
All the best if you decide to go ahead!
