My Mum has just rang to ask if she buys my son a Scooby Doo suitcase from Woolworths can it be checked in on the plane when we go away?
We already have a Trunki for one of them but that can't be checked in so will be part of our hand luggage.

at a guess (if it's the kind of thing i've seen in the shops) it could be smashed to pieces in transit ....probably better to buy a 'proper' hard shelled suitcase and decorate it with stickers etc0

Thats what I was thinking, thank you.0

we got a fab one from tripp that is covered in frogs, but as sturdy as a regular case, it also helps that it was found at cheshire oaks outlet village- look at you local tkmaxx too.0

Samsonite also do some great ranges of kids cases and with reference to the post from deva, most of the outlet villages have Samsonite factory stores.0

our kids normally take them on board as hand luggage with things to do in as it would get damaged when they throw everyones cases on top of it, enjoy your holiday!0
