Anyone have a fan assisted oven?

I guess if the hob is being sunk separately into the work surface, it doesn't really matter - my hob is slightly wider than my oven (4cm each side isn't really that much), but the hole for the hob to be dropped into is smaller than the hob surface itself so there's an overhanging 'lip.'0

The oven is electric as far as I can tell from the description, not gas....the energy consumption is given in Kwh?
I have an electric fan oven, and it cooks things very quickly. My cooker also has a five ring gas hob and it's fantastic.0 -

Thats a shame, i quite like the 5 ring idea
Is it possible to create a shelf or something to get the built in look?0 -
Were you intending to get a freestanding one, Kimberley?0

I'm guessing it'd be easier to replace with a freestanding one. For built-in, you'd need an existing work surface and cavity to use, so it'd probably 'cost' you an existing kitchen unit, and you'd have a large gap where your cooker is at present. Measure your current cooker and the gap it sits in, and aim for something similar.0

The gap my cooker sits in is 70cm and the cooker is 50cm, i want a cooker between 60 and 70cms, but can you get freestanding ones with 5 rings?Grr i wish i had read it properly before loving the cooker
