To celebrate its sponsorship of the BBC Four World Cinema Award 2008, Pioneer has given us a pair of money-can’t-buy VIP tickets to the glittering awards show on January 30 at London’s BFI Southbank.
The winner and their guest will enjoy the ceremony, presented by Jonathan Ross, and get to mingle with the nominated directors and stars of the film world at the aftershow party.
This season the shortlist is hotter than ever, including triple-Academy Award winner Pan’s Labyrinth, the stunning Thai entrant Syndromes And A Century, Academy Award winner The Lives Of Others, Michel Gondry’s The Science Of Sleep and the dark and beautiful Climates. You can find all the details for the Award at https://www.pioneer.co.uk/worldcinema
T&Cs:
Participants must be aged 18 or over and residents of the UK. Only one application per household can be used for this promotion. There are no cash alternatives to this competition. Pioneer may in its absolute discretion substitute or offer an alternative gift of equal or greater value. The Editor’s decision is final. Employees of Pioneer GB Limited are not eligible to enter. The closing date is 25/01/08. The winner will be notified by email on that date with details on how to claim their prize. Travel and accommodation are not included with this prize and the winner must make their own way to the BFI on January 30. Participants may be contacted from time to time in the future about new products and services available from Pioneer. Participants who do not wish this to occur should indicate this as their preference within their email entry. The promoter is Pioneer GB Limited of Pioneer House, Hollybush Hill, Stoke Poges, Slough SL2 4QP. Winners should be aware that the ceremony will be filmed and shown on BBC Four on February 3.
